We strongly condemn the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, which has resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives, widespread suffering, and, most shockingly, an appalling attack on a hospital. The attack on the hospital, where many sought medical care, is a blatant violation of humanitarian principles and international law, and it has deeply saddened us all.
This terrible attack on a place of healing, where people come in search of help and hope, goes against the values we hold dear—compassion and empathy. Deliberately targeting a hospital not only endangers the lives of patients and healthcare workers but also strikes at the heart of our shared humanity.
We must unequivocally denounce such acts. We call for an immediate and impartial investigation into this tragic incident, with a firm commitment to holding those responsible accountable for their actions.
It is essential now more than ever for all parties involved to engage in meaningful dialogue, prioritize the safety and well-being of civilians, and work toward a lasting ceasefire. We believe that only through peaceful means can we bring an end to this devastating conflict and build a better future for all.
